The use of Nft, (non fungible token) is becoming more and more viral. After kittens and applications in the field of art, the use of Nft is now expanding, even reaching the point of uniting a couple in marriage. In San Francisco, a couple got married exchanging wedding rings in form of NFT. The news was reported on Reddit.
Practically, during the celebration, instead of the physical exchange of the rings, a transaction took place on the blockchain via the smartphones of the spouses. The token that identifies the wedding rings was called “Tabaat”, a Hebrew term that means ‘ring’, and it is unique, no more can be made.
The couple also included a digital animation created by artist Carl Johan Hasselrot.
On Twitter Rebecca Rose, the bride, wrote that the virtual rings can be seen on the blockchain “as proof of mutual commitment”.
The two guys work for an American company in the field of cryptocurrencies. Nft is becoming a real craze. A few days ago, a reporter from the New York Times also sold one of his articles in NFT format for $ 563,000 and a Forbes cover went up for auction for $ 333,000
